How to Remove a Pacifica Headlamp

The Chrysler Pacifica is among the leading crossover models in its class. Just like all other vehicles, it requires maintenance to keep it running properly. One part of regular maintenance is changing headlamps. In order to replace a headlamp or the entire headlamp assembly, you will need to know how to remove them first.

Instructions

    1

Open the hood of the vehicle, and disconnect the negative battery cable using a crescent wrench.

    2

Locate and remove the two screws that secure the headlamp assembly in place. The screws are located on top of the assembly. Remove the screws using a flat-head screwdriver.

    3

Remove the headlamp assembly from the vehicle by pulling it straight out. This should unclip it from the lower attachment clip.

    4

Take off the rubber boot seal by pulling it straight off. If you are changing the headlamp, rotate the bulb counterclockwise to disengage it, and then pull it out of the headlamp assembly. If you are replacing the headlamp assembly/housing, remove all of the bulbs from the assembly and replace it with a new one.
