The Jeep Grand Cherokee grille is attached to the its reinforcement at the front of the vehicle, making it more rigid and increasing its durability. The grille is constructed from plastic and can crack or break with an impact, necessitating replacement of the grille itself. Replacement grilles can be purchased at your local dealership. You might be able to obtain a good used part from a salvage yard, however, and save yourself a significant amount of money.

Open the hood of your Grand Cherokee and locate the two bolts on the top of the radiator support that secure the grille to its reinforcement and radiator support.

Remove the two upper mounting bolts from the grille with a 10-millimeter socket and ratchet. Set the bolts aside.

Locate the retaining screws on the front of the grille. There are three screws inside the vertical slats of the grille.

Remove the retaining screws from the front of the grille with a Phillips screwdriver and remove the grille from the front of the Jeep.

If you have gotten into an accident or you are repairing a 2004 Dodge Stratus that simply needs a new grille and bumper, you can visit any official Dodge retailer to order replacement parts. However, if you want to try to save some money on these parts, you can order them online instead. Dodges official website does not sell these items online, however there are a number of third parties that sell grilles, bumpers and other parts for a minimal cost.

Visit a website that sells Dodge parts.

Click "Stratus."

Select "2004" next to year.

Select "Stratus Coupe" or "Stratus Sedan" depending on the model you own.

Type "Bumper" in the search box and click "Search." A list of bumper options will appear.

Type "Grille" into the "Search" box to see grille results.

You can remove the grille from the front of your 2003 Ford F150 at home using a few simple tools that can be purchased from any hardware store. You may have to remove a grille because of accident damage or you may wish to replace it with an after-market grille. In either case, its an easy job requiring only a few minutes of your time. Besides being visually pleasing, the grilles purpose is to protect the radiator.

Pop up the hood and find the bolts that attach the upper radiator fan cover to the upper part of the grille. Use a socket and ratchet to remove these bolts.

Remove the cover from the upper grille using your hands.

Find the two plastic tabs attaching the drivers side of the grille to the fender in front. Push the tabs in toward the fender and pull on the grille from the front of the vehicle to dislocate it from the fender. Do the same thing on the passenger side of the grille.

You may want to remove the grill of your Camaro for any number of reasons. There may be grill damage, you may want to replace the grill with an aftermarket one or you need to do other engine maintenance. You can either grab the grill and pull it with force away from the car to remove it, or you can take your time pulling the bumper off properly so you can reuse the grill.

Removal Option 1

Stand in front of your Camaros grill.

Place your hands on each side of the grill and get a firm grip.

Pull with force away from the car until the grill releases from the retainers. Remember, removing the grill this way may cause damage to the retainers so you cannot use this grill again. If you plan on replacing it with a different grill, by all means, just pull it off.

Removal Option 2

Open the hood of your Camaro and secure it in place.

Locate the five retainers for the Camaros front fascia, which are near the radiator support. Remove these with pliers.

Take the outer deflectors off of the fascia. These are located on the lower part of the corners on the bumper. There will be four bolts that must be removed with a socket wrench.

Stand in front of the bumper, look at the headlight, and find the support nuts and bolts that are located on the back edge of the light fixture. Remove these nuts and bolts from both sides of the bumper. There should be 3 or 4 bolts, depending on the year of your Camaro.

Grab the wiring connector that is attached to the headlight assembly and pull it away from the assembly to disconnect it. Do this for both headlights.

Position yourself under the front bumper so you can see the impact bar, which is straight back from the license plate. Remove the three retainers that are located there using pliers.

Stand in front of the bumper and pull it away from the Camaro. Put it gently to the side on a clean surface.

Use a socket wrench to remove the nuts from the grill. There should be four that run along the length of the grill. Also remove the retaining clips that are located there as well.

Grab both sides of the grill and pull it away from the vehicle.
